Licensing Act 2003 Application for a new Premises Licence Notice is hereby given that Simmons Eastcheap Limited has applied to the City of London on 29 October 2018 for a new premises licence to use Unit 5, 35 East Cheap, London, EC3M 1DE for the sale by retail of alcohol, and the playing of live and recorded music. A record of this application is held by the City of London and can be viewed by members of the public online by visiting www. cityoflondon.gov.uk or by appointment at the offices of City of London licensing authority, Walbrook Wharf, 78-83 Upper Thames Street, London EC4R 3TD. Any person wishing to make a representation in relation to this application must give notice in writing to the licensing authority at the address shown above, giving in detail the grounds of objection by 27 November 2018. The licensing authority must receive representations by the date given above. The licensing authority will have regard to any such representation when considering the application. It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in or in connection with an application for premises licence and the maximum fine on being convicted of such an offence is £5000. Notice of application for the grant of a Premises Licence under Section 17 of the Licensing Act 2003 Notice is hereby given that BR Eastcheap Limited has applied to City of London Corporation for the grant of a Premises Licence in respect of Premises to be known as Ballroom, 39a Eastcheap, London, EC3M 1DT. The proposed licensable activities and their hours are : to permit the sale of alcohol and regulated entertainment Monday to Sunday 1000 to Midnight; late night refreshment Monday to Sunday 2300 to Midnight; opening hours Monday to Sunday 0800 to 0030 the following morning. Any representations regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by Licensing Authority, City of London Licensing Authority, Markets and Consumer Protection, PO Box 270, Guildhall, EC2P 2EJ no later than 26th November 2018 stating the grounds for representation.
